"...We were very late and started in mid January for an early May event. The event is called Bayou Boil and is held outside under a tent at Armand Bayou Nature Center. It features boiled crawfish, fried catfish and Cajun music. It includes a silent and live auction. Attendance anticipated was about 400. Despite our late start and a number of other obstacles, Ann jumped right in and got to work. She organized committees, negotiated with vendors, recruited volunteers, and took over all the small details that go into an event like this. The challenges of an outdoor event in a nature center setting were considerable. Ann's skills, enthusiasm and persistence made our event."
